Hi,

I'm using solaris 9 and I'd like to know how to change the system file encoding.
any help will be appreciated

Benoit

I would to change the file encoding system from ISO-8859-1 to ISO646-US. I'm asking that because I tryied to install opencms and I had an error message saying the default file encoding from opencms and from system were different. so I want to change the one of my system. is it clearer?

First you have to make sure you have that installed, and second I think you make changes to /etc/TIMEZONE which is linked to /etc/default/init. I also think you will have to reboot, but dont quote me on that one.
