Change status of field "kostl" in va02

I can't find out how to change status of the field "kostl" in transaction va02 from required to optional!

Try transaction OVA2 and amending your incomplete procedure to include kostl...
We've done the same but we use prctr for sales....

failing that, record a transaction variant via shd0 and assign to sales order type in transaction vov8
