With Win98 I was able to change the start from MY Documents to C:drive.
C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n, /e, /select, c:\

But since WinXP is not based on Dos the switches do not seem to work. So is there a why of changing the start up of MY Documents to C:drive?

This command starts Windows Explorer using the default view, with the focus on C:\Windows.

Explorer /e,C:\Windows

In the Target box, append the "/root" command-line switch to the "%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe" command, using the startup location that you want. For example, if you want Windows Explorer to start at the root of drive C, edit the command to the following:

%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /root, C:\

Thanks Linney,

That did the trick, I have it now pointing to c:drive.
