Change SQL query from Delphi

Hi,

Can I change SQL Query from Delphi 5 via VCL, OCX or RDC in CR?

I use CR Report and SQL Query made with Crystal SQL Designer.

I have no problem to change SQL Query if I use the Cr Report without external SQL Query.

Using the Crystal SQL Designer creates an xBase table, that Crystal Reports then calls for reporting purposes. Crystal Decisions doesn't recommend using their *.qry files for distributed applications - although I'm not sure if this is because they are slow, consume large amounts of space, are difficult to update (even manually), or are just plain unreliable.
You are not able to change the query file through the API. Malcolm Wynden

Yes, I found only one way use Selection formula or make a subreport therefore I need to connect to two Sybase databases.
