Change/set the proxy settings using a VB app.

Hi,

I need to change/set the proxy settings using a VB app.

I am aware that there is a registry key etc for this, but I dont really know how to use it. What I'm trying to do is - use the VB web browser control VIA a proxy, (easy if using Inet, but that dosent do the job .)

Somehow I need to: Set the proxy server, then load a page in the VB Web Browser... Set proxy server, Goto page... and so on. (Im ok with the browser side its just the setting proxy.)

If anyone was to know a way to get the browser to go via a proxy, but not affect the rest of windows that would be 100 times better!

You need to change the registry entries in

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

The values "ProxyServer" and "ProxyEnable" are the ones you're after.
