I am an applications programmer who got a new Win 2K Server on which to create an Intranet. I decided that I would use Sharepoint Team Services. The server was pre-installed with SQL Server 2000, IIS 5.0 and Sharepoint Services, all in the C:\ directory. I have two 40 gig drives, all under NTFS with the C drive at 4 gigs, the remainder of the first drive is D:
I have not yet loaded any content. It seems that with everything installed to the C drive, I am going to run out of room for intranet content on Sharepoint unless I can store this data on one of my other partitions. Based on the reading I have done, it appears that I will have to go into ISM and change the Home Directory local path. Once I do that will I have to re-install Sharepoint or any other services? Is there an alternative to this process?
