Change "Nortel" on 1140 phones 1

Morning all,

This is a quick and I am sure easy question! :)

Our Nortel 1140 phones on a CS1000 release 5.0 switch (upgrading to 5.5 today!!) diplay the words CS1000 NORTEL on the phone.

Can this be changed?

yes this can be changed. It's set in the PARM data block under the IDLE_SET_DISPLAY

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
