Is it possible to change your network password through a website.

My situation is, we are hosting a few companies email addresses and we have implemented a new password policy that requires complexity. Is it possible for them to change their password without having to call us up and tell us the new password? The only communication they have with us is through their mail client (Which we have no control of).

Can I crease a webpage that will allow them to change their password?

Ok...How can I enable these outside user accounts to use OWA. Normally I have a DNS record for mail.<domain>.com/Exchange. This works great for everybody with my domain name.

However, for the outide people (Email Hosting) when they type in their mail.<differentdomain>.com/exchange they get the 404 Error. Something is not configured right and I'm not sure what?

Can you help?

you'll need to register their domain names to your IP address and get the appropriate records in DNS. For your purposes, that would just be SOA, NS, and A records for each domain.

This is all configured correctly. We don't host their DNS records. That is controlled by the DNS servers upstream (our ISP) which point to us as their email provider. They can get their email when they type mail.<differendomain>.com in their pop3 and smtp account.

It doesn't work when they use the /Exchange extention. I have added the Virtual Server (Exchange) to our IIS but I'm not sure where to point it.

yes, they point to you as an email provider, but are they pointing to you as the domain owner? If not, then you'll have to allow these users to initially connect to your exchange server using your primary domain name, then they'll just log in with normal domain/ID and password credentials. Beyond that, if you want to separate GAL's, have a look at this:

That is PERFECT!!!! Thank you for that information. I couldn't find that to save my life. Thanks
