Change Outlook mail status to read 2

Simple Question - How to you change the status of an unread email in outlook once you have finished processing it? I seem the be processing the same unread mail item over and over.

Must be too late and I'm having a brain fart.

I seem to remember having the same problem, and if memory serves me well, it is one of the mail items properties that you simply have to look at which in turn sets the mail as being read. Off hand I would take a guess at the attachments.count propery. If not, just read the subject, body etc... until you find the one which marks it as read.
