Hi,
We have a universe built on a particular schema in the DB2 database. There is a need to change to a different schema on the same database with the same tables. Do i need to recreate the universe all over again (i have done lot of formatting with the universe objects already)? Is there any way that i can point the existing tables and the objects in the current Universe to a different schema.
Also in the future, we will be migrating to a testing database from a development database. So does a change in the universe connection will take care of the migration of Universe from development database to the test database?

Thanks

Yes you can. Change the Universe Connection to point to the New Schema.

It's as simple as that. If you change the connection string, everything follows along. It does depend on if you have table owners visible in the diagram. So, you may have to change the connection and do a "mass" rename to add a new table owner. You may not have to do this, but it's something to consider.

Thanks,
I think, i need to change the owner to point the tables to the correct location.

Thanks
