Hi there,

I need to change IP addresses for my S8700 servers, CLANs, Cajun switches, VAL board, IPSI's and Intuity Audix at one site. Has anyone done this and encountered major issues? If so, what where they?

Cheers

Any issue if you do that during the ou-of-hours!!! And if you made any mistakes in the mask, subnet mask ip address etc ...

We did this about 1 1/2 years ago; no problems, although we did make all of our changes after hours. Document everything, make the changes one at a time, and test before going to the next one. Don't forget to change the router addresses, if necessary. If you have any Media Gateways, change the CLAN addresses on those, too, and reset the MG when done so they will re-register back to the Media Server. If you have Avaya maintenance, notify Denver so the alarm team doesn't freak out.
