I need to update the features (arrangement of button features) on about 150 phone. Is there a way I can mass update my 8410D phones? I use Avaya Site Administrator v1.12.02.03 and haven't been able to find and options to do this.

I think you can do it under ASA. Under the Advance tab on the left, click 'find and replace'. You might have to look in the help files.

Find and Replace doesn't give me the options for button features. At least if it does i don't see it. I checked the web, searched support.avaya.com, the Little Instruction books, and the help files with ASA - nothing yet! Right now I'm manually change them all. Ugh.

I am not sure if you can make a correction to a large number of sets--however what I had to do was make one set the template and delete all the sets to update and then duplicate

it would have been nice to do a mass edit--but this was the only way I could figure out how to do it.

Avaya has a program called Provision. Its the program that the Software programmers use to input/change large numbers of extentions at one time. Its spreadsheet based. Its the only program that I know of that can do mass changes that you need.

Is the button set-up the same on all of the stations? If so, then you can export all of the stations that you want to change. (Using the Export Data command through ASA.) Then you would create a template and do the "Import Data" command (select change and the appropriate template), but paste the data in that you exported for the name and port and all that jazz. Basically the system will use the template you created, but anything manually entered into the import screen will override what is in the template, so if you paste what you exported, then the only thing changing will be the buttons. I hope this makes sense.
