Hi,
In my headquarter I have an a ISA Server 2004 and 15 VPN, some of it PPTP (which terminate on ISA Server) and some IPSec (which terminate on Cisco Pix), towards remote offices.
Now, I have to change ISP an so I have installed an a third ethernet card whit a new public address to migrate my network to surf on Internet and new peer for my VPN's.
Is there an a documents to how do it ?

Best regards

Lorenzo

Hi,

pls post it if you solve your problem, right now I'm using 3 servers for 3 providers

In order to do this, you need to configure the new connection and make sure it's working. Then setup the ISA Server to accept VPN connections on that IP Address. Then inform the clients to change their VPN Connection settings to the new IP address.

For the IP Sec clients on the Pix, you'll have to wait until the ISP is changed then change the remote connections to point to the new IP address.

Because you're not physically changing hardware or software, the IP Address is the only thing you need to change on the remote computers.

sorry formelli, mistake, i posted for different thread.

You want to add another NIC, meaning your isa is not behind pix right?
what you need to do on ISA, just change the External IP add, and if you use specific public IPaddress when you publish web/server, you have to change it. Also check the rule for VPN if you use default external address is OK, but if specific, you have to change the new one. Reboot the server when you finish, I've tried to restart isa and rras only but sometimes it doesn't work.

Don't forget to change your external DNS entry.
