What is the easiest way to change the icon of a specific device? I would prefer to just use an existing HP icon and without having to add a field in the database.

You can change the symbol for one specific device by simply right-clicking and selecting "change symbol type".
To change the symbol for all devices of a certain type, you'll need to edit the oid_to_sym file.
