I know how to set the GridLines at web designer, is it possible for me to change the gridlines at run-time? I want to display the gridlines for certain rows only.

You can control this via css. Use the RowDataBound event to work out which line do/don't need them, and then set the CSSClass for the row accordingly.

It's up to you to make an attempt at researching the problem. We will help you if you get stuck, but we will not write solutions for you.

I'd suggest starting by looking at the help file. It should be very easy for you to work out the solution from reading and understanding this page.
