I have several Norstar sites and dial into the SM mailbox to change the greetings using 99 after logging in. One particular SM mailbox is not giving me that option and seems like someone has logged into 102 as a regular user. I've seen this 1 time before and Nortel said the system had to be reconfigured from scratch. Does anyone know a way to reset 102 back to the "System Admin" setting... Thx for any help.

If the system is web-enabled, check that the mailbox actually exists. Perhaps someone deleted it by mistake?

mbox 102 can't be deleted. I did reset the password to 0000 but When trying to access 102 remotely and pressing ** 1020000 which is what the log info is for the web client (and then makes you change it), it does not work. Now it is locked and I'm waiting for someone at the site to do a F985, 9, etc. on it.

After a password reset to 0000, you cannot access the mailbox "remotely' unles you have ENABLE EXTERNAL INITIALIZATION turned on. See Configuration, system properties and check the box.
