Strange as it may seem small html tricks are not very easy in livelink.However these methods may work for you
a)the fonts are probably coming from your browser,so you can change your browser setting,but that will affect the whole rendering.
b)You can put a xml skin(appearance) or just have a XML transformation with a style sheet that employs your business rule(If my folder is found then courier,should be a piece of cake in XML)
c)The view that is presented to you is browseview.html in the <opentextroot>\webnode\html\browseview.html.The 9.5 livelink employs a bunch of CSS's to acheive its aesthetics.
By making a copy of this file you can edit it in notepad.The source is a bunch of oscipt+html thrown in
