Change field type form number to autonumber

Hi,

Is it possible to run a query to change the field type in a table from number to autonumber? It's been set as a number in error..

I've tried doing it maunally but get a warning that it's not possible to change a field to an autonumber once the table has been created.

In design mode, you can delete the field and then add a new autonumber field.
