My DL380 G3 server install Netware 5.1, but it make big fan noise when running. Is any ways to change the fans speed for HP DL380 G3 server?

Change fan speed for DL380 G3

AFAIR, the fan speeds are governed by teh processor and are not controllable by admin/user. DL380 G3's are VERY noisy by default. I've got about 10 in the racks in my small office server room and that is very noisy. I normally use ear-defenders when I go to our hosting centre as that is quite deafening.
I don't think there is a lot you can except purchase some better noise reduction panelling for the server & build rooms.
