Our network used to be totally private. Recently we added a Public IP, and now I think I'm getting some DNS probs. Our ISP hosts our Public Internet site, while we also have our internal Intranet site. Both sites have the same xxx.net address. Like I said, one used to be private so their was no concern.
The server I have for DNS is also our GroupWise server (new) receiving our incoming E-mail from our domain.
So, I have a DNS Snaffu that I could sure use some help with.
I can goin to the DNS/DHCP console and delete the xxx.net and change to xxx.local, but is their other area's that I need to be concerned about and also make sure get changed. Such as the Host file in the ETC directory in all my servers, public and private? I don't think GroupWise would be effected by the change but I'm not sure if it would still resolve names to the new xxx.local
Anyone with thoughts???

Thanks
