Hi,
I hooked up my digital recorder (hooks up as a USB drive) to my PC (it records WAV files) and the box popped up asking me what action I wanted to take. I meant to choose "Take no action" and checked off the "Always perform this action" box. Unfortunately, I accidentally chose "Play in Windows Media Player".
So, now each time I hook up the digital recorder it launches WMP and starts playing back the WAVs. I really want to turn this off. I tried disassociating the file type WAV with WMP, but, no joy. It still launches when I hookup the recorder.
I'm thinking that this particular association is related to connecting the removable drive and not the file type. Just like when you insert CDs. But I can't figure out how to change it so I can turn it off.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
AJ
