I have a G3 V8 and I'm trying to use the "change coverage" feature. I've assigned a feature access code, I've verified the COR, good so far. It works but I have to assign a "security code" on the station form. The sequence of digits is: *1# (change coverage FAC), xxxxx# (extension number) xxxxx# (security code), and finally the coverage option that I want in affect. Looks like this - *1#39739#12345#1.
Quite the digit string. Anyone know how to use this feature without specifying the extension number and security code. I figure it should work similar to call forwarding; if I'm using the code from my extension, and I don't have console permissions on my COS, then the FAC should automatically apply to that extension. (So I thought)
