Hi, I am a beginner with flash, I downloaded a movie for my site, but I would like to change the overall color.

Right now it is blue, with gradients and different shades of blue, and I would like to keep the shades.

How can I for example gray scale the whole movie, or change to whatever color I like. (needs to match my logo.

You can see the movie at
Please, I would appreciate any help I can get.

Steve

Come on guys, I am that's an easy one for you. Any help is appreciated.

Please

I know a bit of flash but 2 do what u ask I think u wud need to have the origonal file 2 do this or put an opaque layer over the movie within flash.
Regards Danny.

Danny is right. You need the original file (.fla) to make the kind of change that you want to make.

You could import the swf into a new flash file and apply some color changes to the whole movie... but you won't be able to convert to black and white.

I have the original file. I still do not know how to make this color change.

Post a link to your .fla, zipped up and in a MX only format, not MX2004.

You would have to save a copy of your MX2004 .fla, (using Save as...) and changing the Document type to MX only in the Save as... window.

Export the .pngs and open them in Photoshop. Remove the color info. Save and re-import them in Flash, and replace the colored versions wit these new ones...

I didn't know I can do that. Thank you very much.

Steve
