hi there everyone,
i have recently tryed to revive an old socket 7 ct-5agm2 and i am getting major problems. no matter what cpu i install or what jumper settings i use the motherboard seems to freeze at the dmi pool data screen just after the post. i have tryed different memory, different graphics cards , agp and pci. i have tryed virtually everything but to no evail what really bugs me is that it will sit in the bios screen quite happily all day ? i thought it may be a problem with the onboard ide controller so put in a isa ide controller it registered fine but still the same problem the board freezes everything remains on the screen but it locks up and you can not do anything but reset even the caps lock and num lock on keyboard seem to freeze. is there anyone who has any ideas ? cause i am completely baffled
