CGI Timeout in IIS 6

Hi,

on Windows 2003 server with IIS 6, I have changed the CGI timeout to 600 seconds (using IIS resource toolkit -> Metabase Explorer).

However the CGI scripts are getting timeout error at 300 seconds (IIS default setting).

a) How to check what is the current value IIS is using for CGI timeout value?
b) Is the way I changed timeout value is correct?

I have changed the CGI Timeout value in IIS Metabase explorer. However when I restart the server and go back, it resets to 300 (default).

how to make it permannent.
