I have found the list of unused phantom tn's in my PBX.
1. How do I add a dn?
2. How do I foward the DN to an outside number?

How do I build a 500 set? Sorry-I am new to this.

The easy way would be to copy an existing 500 set to one of the free phantom TNs. Then change that TN's dn with

REQ: chg
TYPE: 500
TN 156 0 0 1 (enter your phantom TN)
ECHG yes
ITEM dn 7535 (enter a DN you want to use)
MARP
CPND (new and enter, type name or just hit enter to skip)

hit enter until the prompt says
FTR: DCFW [enter the number you want to call whenever this extension is dialed] be sure to include the 9 to get out if you need to...
Make sure the TGAR and NCOS are high enough to place the call.

here's a print of one of mine - notice the FTR at the bottom - if someone dials 5440, it will call 8004 but I had another one that went to an outside 1800 fullfillment center number

FTR DCFW 4 8004

"Dyin'? Boy, He can have this little life any time He wants to. Do Ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, Ol' Timer. Let me know You're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it... I'm just standin' in the rain talkin' to myself." Cool Hand Luke

DOH - when you enter the DCFW be sure to inlude the number of digits - I left that out
FTR DCFW 4 8004 - I used 4 because I am dialing an internal extension here, you would use 8 to dial 9 + xxx-xxxx or 11 for 9 + xxx-xxx-xxxx (7 or ten digit dialing depending your area - 12 for 9+1 for long distance)
