cfi redirection leads to fullbackup

because of cluster licenses i had to redirect the client fileindex of a virtual server to a physical server using

save -c <nameof physical Server> as backup command.

Now every time the savegroup is starting networker makes a full backup. int the savegrp.log the message is "No full backup of this saveset is found..."

mminfo finds the savesets in the clientfileindex of the physical server.

To my opinion when the savegroup is starting, the networker looks for the savesets in th cfi of the client who is member of the group instead of the cfi of the client where the savesets are redirected (save -c )to.
Any idea how to solve this issue ?

Well, if your method would be successful, you could fake NW. Consequently this is not possible. What do expect?

Its not faking NW !
The method is described in the Networker admin guide !

Maybe i have to explain a little bit :
I have an Oracle 9 on a Windows 2003 ClusterWhen I backup Oracle whith nmo4.2 usinf the virtual servername I get an error that the clientname was wrong.
I cannot use aliases because i had to use the alias on both cluster nodes which is no longer supported on NW 7.2.1
Using pathownerignore we could backup Oracle.
On the Cluster there are two more virtual servers defined which are used for fileservices.
After using "pathownerignore" the ownership rules are changed so every physical und virtual Server in the cluster consumes a clusterlicense.
The NW is a Buisiness edition so there is a limit of 2 Clusterlicenses.

any ideas to solve the problem ?
