I am working on a timesheet app. I have start and stop times for each worker for a given event, and am using CFGRID to be able to process all of them at once.

To get the date/times properly formatted in the grid, I have used the following construct:
<CFGrid.....
<CFGridColumns....

<cfloop query = "EmpInEvent">

<cfset StartFormatted = "#timeFormat(Starttime, "HH:mm")#">

<CFGRIDROW data = "#REGION#, #EmpNum# ... #StartFormatted#....

</cfloop>
</cfgrid>
</cfform>

Grid displays beautifully. Problem occurs when I attempt to save the data. Here is what I get:

"Error casting an object of type java.sql.Timestamp to an incompatible type. This usually indicates a programming error in java, although it could also mean you have tried to us a foreign object in a different way than it was designed."

Anyone know any workarounds to this, or any reasonable alternatives to CFGRID?

Thanks in advance
