I am fairly new to cold fusion and i have a couple of questions about the cfgrid tag.

First, when i display the columns, i don't know how many columns are going to be returned (the table is constantly being altered to add a new column) - so how do i display them using the default name - but also hide some of the returned values (i will always know which values i want to hide). Is this possible?

Also, is there anyway to color coordinate the rows (i.e first row blue, second row green, third row blue, fourth row green and so on..)
