CFGRID problems/alternatives

Hi there,

I am not a coldfusion programmer, but trying my hand at writing an app that connects to a database and keeping LAN data updated. I want to display a list of data, and then only update the records that have changed (if any) when I process the form.

I used the cfgrid method, but as soon as I try to process my query I receive the following error:

After some research on the internet I saw that cfgrid was defnitely not the way to go as other people got the same error as me.

Can anyone pls tell me what a good alternative is to cfgrid, as well as where I can get a few examples to work with.

Any help/input greatly appreciated.
