I am using cfdirectory, to list some files, but i want to know if there's a way to list the date created. i can list the name, and date modified. but i want to get the date created.

It's not one of the fields that is returned by cfdirectory I'm afraid. I'm quite surprised to be honest, I thought that it would have been in there! Maybe submit a feature request to MacDobe

Wouldn't the date created technically be the same thing as the date modified? I mean, when you modify a file and save it, doesn't it just basically copy the new file over the old one?

Just curious...

No they are not the same, the modified date and created date are the same.
