is it possible to do a recursive delete using CFMX of a directory using cfdirectory.

has anybody written a snippet that will spider 'ANY' number of folders (not just one) with in the directory you wish to delete.

Ihave been trying to do this for a day or two now. and still now joy.

Here is link to a free lib that can recurse through a files system. It does not do exactly what you want to do, but within the code a dir tree is transversed.
