I'm looking for a new CF shared hosting provider for two domains that I operate and possibly one or two new domains. Can anyone recommend a good provider? I'm NOT looking for a cheap provider, so price is not a big consideration for me. Things that I require...

High Uptime (not looking for guarantees, just performance)
Great Tech Support Service
MS Access DB Supported
Good Billing Services
Variety of Options
Miva Merchant (nice, but not required)
3-4 IP Addresses

When replying please include your relationship with the provider (ie: current customer, past customer, provider employee, reseller, etc.)

Conversely, can anyone tell me which providers to stay away from?

Thanks in advance!

I currently use Gearhost ( their uptime has been incredible. The only time that I had an issue there was a blizzard in Colorado (where the Datacenter is located) and they were up the next day.

Of course my site isn't a "mission critical" site or anything like that. But as I said, their uptime has been quite good.

They support MS Access, SQL, PHP, I believe that they do have the Miva Merchant options, and their online management tool is incredible! I can make sub-domains on the fly, create email accounts, etc, etc.

They have a "demo" version of their control interface on a test box.

I am a current customer of theirs, I signed up a year ago for their platinum plan and my renewal is two weeks away and I have no qualms whatsoever about renewing. That is a first for me!

If you have any questions, let me know.

i'm currently hosting my own sites and one client (looking for more, eh) at
they have recently (i.e. may 1 2003) cut their prices and increased bandwidth

and their service is unbelievably good

check out their forums at especially the customer feedback in the General Discussion

ColdFusion available on Plan 1

please put r937.com as the referrer if you decide to use
them

:)

NPS ( has CF and ASP hosting
for under $10 a month. You get like 100MB,
and 1GB of traffic per month. They have more expensive
packages available, but so far, they seem very reliable.
I'm paying $8/month and I've been with them for several
months, and have only gotten a notice about one planned
outage (and that only lasted about an hour) for a
hardware upgrade.
