Hi,

Does anyone see a way to restrict a specific CentreVu user from accessing all reports? I would like to have a CentreVu user who can only access a pre-defined set of reports.

I currently have a testuser for whom I removed all user permissions and only gave access to a specific set of splits and VDN's. However by giving him access to the reports feature he can still open-up a real-time report showing agents and vdn/split queue data for splits/vdn he should not have permission for. We are running CentreVu 8.0.ED.03.

Thnxs,

Emile

Yes,
Copy the reports you want the guy to have access to the custom category on the terminal (these look awful in comparison to the GUI reports but the info is still the same) The go to users - feature access, remove read & write access for standard reports but give him read access to the custom reports. This should do the trick

Hi,

Unfortunately we already have custom reports in use. These reports are being used by all CEntrevu users and I do not want the user in question to have access to all custom reports.

Any other suggestions? Thnxs.

copy the custom reports to each users profile and set as "Report Available To" only me. You will need to do this for each user who needs to view the report, then when you guy logs onto CMS he wont be able to view the reports as it becomes "Private"

Let me know how you get on
