hey guys,

never done this....

have 2 sites both 406v2 4.2.

main site has VMpro. can i set up a auto attendant for the remote site. if someone calls in to the remote site and the call is not answered, can it go to a auto attendant at the main site? if so, would it be just like setting one up as if you at the main site?

sorry guys,

the title should say.....centralized VOICEMAIL question

Yes you can do this

On the other site set vmpro to centralized
Make the AA on the vmrpo machine and give it a name
Then on your incoming call route give it destination VM:name of module

That easy it is :-)

it made me laugh as well!!!

glad to be of service ;)

when i set the voicemail at the remote location to centralized, should the VMPro at the main site create mailboxes for the remote site?

Yep - that is where they should be. Sometimes you need to restart the voicemail service to make this happen though.

You could try that

i think im going to upgrade both sites to 5.0 first. we are having some weird issues. some calls will go through, but only one way talk?? after that, calls will stop going through???

i think i will just upgrade and go from there.
