Dont know if this is the right place but here goes.

I am designing a website but am trying to consider users of 1024 resolution and also those using 800 at the same time. I noticed that some sites look the same whichever screen res i set my pc at. What I dont want is to design it with 1024 in mind and then the 800 users have to scroll right to see the content on the far right.

At the moment if i design in 1024 the 800 users have to scroll right which is rubbish but if i design in 800 the 1024 users have a big gap on the right.

What is the best way to go about doing this? Should i create two sites and at the start page have Click for 1024x768 and Click for 800x600 or is there a way to combine the two. Surely there must be.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Dan

you dont need to have them click

use this link
and use that code to put in your first page....then automatically the browser will redirect the user to the best site version for their resolution

or you could design using % for your tables or layers

this will give your site a liquid design much like these forums here! [Hammer]
