I have connected 8 C.O trunk lines (analog) to a C.O card in a definity prologix. When an incoming call comes in it rings somewhere between 2 -14 and then reaches the trunk card. But, during these ringing , when I execute a status trunk command , I get the line as in-service active. But I do not get anything in trace command for that line.
Ones the call is detected it rings on the incoming destination immediately and I can also see the same happening in the Trace command.
what could be the problem ??

schhatre, it could be that you have a bad board. Try the following commands. (Warning, they are intrusive)

test board xxxxx
test trunk x

However, it almost sounds like you could have a mix of Loop Start & Ground Start trunks. If this is the case you will need a separate Trunk Group for each. Are you able to verify the type of all eight?
