Hello people.

Do any of you know if a Celeron system board is restricted to 66Mhz FSB or could it be faster?

Depends...

If I remember correctly, the original Celeron processors had no FSB lock.

Then Intel realized the Celeron was way too good of a product and was outcompeting the more expensive Pentium II - thus they then locked the FSB to 66MHz.

And I'm not sure at what point, but the new Celerons are back locked at 100MHz FSB.

So it really depends on which particular Celeron processor you've got. Which speed have you got?

It's my friends PC and he is trying to run Medal of Honour Allied assault but he only has 64MB ram and needs to get another 64mb and it is easier to find old 66mhz sticks than 100mhz. Celeron 600mhz. (When I say "find" I mean free)

Cheers

Yes you need more memory but if you are asking what you need to run Medal of Honour the the answer is a good graphics card!!
16mb plus Voodoo 3 or above(4 or 5)
G/force 256 or better (TNT2 may just do it)
ATI Radeon
This game is relatively new and needs a lot of graphics power to run smoothly. Martin Vote if you found this post helpful please!!

I'd say your Celeron is on a 100MHz bus, I can't see that thing being at a clock multiplier of 9x. You can find new PC133 ram for cheaper than new PC100 ram, if you're forced to purchase ram.
