I've run into something new for us and that is attempting to install a celeron2 667 Mhz processor into a pcchips book pc motherboard with an Intel 810 chipset.
The problem is nothing! That's it! Other than the cooling fan starting, there's NOTHING! However, if I replace the CPU with a Celeron 400 it starts right up.
The CPU socet is a PGA370, the 667 CPU is a FC-PGA.
Has anyone ever accomplished this before? If so, what had to be done to make it work? If this is not possible with this motherboard then what is the fastest CPU make/model that will work.
Thank you.
