CDROM-RW does not show up in 'My Computer'

Hi

Recently installed CD writer into my son's IBM tower as slave.
It's listed in Device Manager and I can record CD via Nero OK, but it does not show up in 'My Computer'
Any help gratefully accepted

In My Computer/Folder Options/File Types check you have Icons for Audio CD/CD etc. Check to see if an administrator user can see the drive in My Computer. Change the view in my computer to force a refresh. Other than that - I've no idea as I've never had the problem.
