CDRALW2K - Could Not Find File

Hi

Just wondered if anyone could help, I recieve this error on startup:

The Cdralw2k service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified

I found a Microsoft KB article about unninstalling Windows Media Player 7

I have done this but still get the error on startup

- The user doesn't have and CDR Burning software installed

Did you try the 'locate & delete files' as well as the uninstall?

if its still happening - can you find that service in the list of services or devices and set it to disabled?
