Hi all, quick question that I've being not able to find the answer.

For example if a system with 4 sites with one being the main one (S87xx), 2 are ESS (S8500) and the last one is LSP (S8300). What happens with CDR reporting when all sites go into stand along mode due a network failure and each site has it's own trunks but the CLAN connected to the CDR server is on the main site?

My experience is that all CDR sites for non main site is lost, and even if I add a CDR2 option on one of the ESS sites I cannot add a CDR3 or CDRx....

Does anybody knows how to handle this kind of situation?

Hi ,
in case of enterprise fragmentation, your CDR will not survive , the ESS is the secondary backup but you cannot add a CDR option for all LSP's

CM5 has a new CDR feature
Previously in Communication Manager 4.0, this feature preserves the CDR records
associated with calls that occur while a gateway is under the control of the LSP
survivable server. Starting with Communication Manager 5.0, survivable CDR will
also be available to the ESS survivable server and primary server. Customer can
now have a consistent way to collect CDR records across all Avaya servers whether
they are primary or survivable servers.
