Hi guys

Two quick questions:

1. Is CDR and CMS separate on the switch? ie is CDR1 the CMS or are they completely separate, so that I could have CMS, CDR1 and CDR2 getting data?

2. Does the switch send out the CDR data instantaneously as it happens (eg real time) or is there a buffer that, once it is full, the switch sends it all out and starts over?

Thanks

Nick

1. CDR and CMS are two completely separate things. CDR is configured on the sys cdr screen, CMS on the comm pro screen.

2. CDR is real time, it will however buffer a certain amount on a FIFO basis if your CDR link goes down.

Cool, thanks!

I'm trying to get the CDR for hunt groups only. I've put the hunt group extension numbers in the intra-switch-CDR form but I'm getting other junk too.

What I'm trying to do is simply monitor whenever there is a call in queue for a huntgroup and monitor when it is answered.

Can I achieve this through CDR?
