CDOSYS.DLL error

My users are getting a the following message when they try to process their emails from their database through my SMTP Server:
Error Message: Could not access 'CDO.Message' object.
Error Source: System.Web

We were advised to reboot and reregister the dll but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

check you CDOSYS.DLL file is it is original from Microsoft. Do you have latest anti virus install on the server ?

You were right on the mark. I checked Mcafee and the mass mailing check box was enabled which blocked port 25. It works fine now. Thanks.
