Not sure if this is the right forum to post this.....

I seem to me having an issue with using CDONTS on my Windows 2000 Server to send an email via ASP. I created a test form to pass through the values for the From, To, Subject and Body variables to sendmail.asp which does the "processing", but although I don't get an error message I'm not receiving the email. I know it's not the code because I've used the same on my own Personal Web Server running Windows XP Pro.
However, I've been reading about how you need to set-up SMTP correctly on a Windows 2000 Server to use CDONTS, but none of the articles I've come across seem to explain clearly what needs to be done. Does anyone have any ideas?

yes. The SMTP Server installation from IIS is simply a relay agent. You must designate the address (IP or dns) of the SMTP mail server within the mail agent, Then under your smtp mail directory your Anonymous user account and IWAM account must have the correct pemission of change..

Chris - thanks for your reply. Is there any chance that you could expand on what you said in a sort of step by step answer. This is all new to me and I just want to make sure that I get it right.
