I used to be able to burn CDs with my CD-R/W drive, which is an "IDE-CD R/RW 4x4x24" when I had Windows 98. I upgraded to XP, and now it doesn't work. I can read CDs from the drive, but if I try to copy anything to it, I get an error that says the drive is not accessable. If I try to delete something from a CD, I get a message that the drive is read-only. I thought maybe I need a new driver, but I can't find one anywhere. Any ideas that I can try next? Thanks. -Rick

The two rules for success are:
1. Never tell them everything you know.

Are you using EZCD Creator? What version? Make sure you have loaded the XP updates. Also, you will probably have to do an uninstall on the EZCD software and reinstall, then DO NOT reboot the machine until you install all of the patches and updates, then reboot. That's what I had to do.
