CD drive in XP

I use Win XP and get a "Microsoft Error report" whenever I load a CD.

Does anyone know what may be causing this ? Any suggestions on how to solve this problem ?

No specific error, just that an error has occurred and that an error report is being generated.

Is it best to uninstall and re-install an updated CD-ROM driver ?

It may be, however when Xp creates these reports there should be somewhere on the error dialog that lets you see what is included in the report.
