Hi everyone,
I am currnently building a 12pg CD booklet project and would like to use InDesign. I noticed it has a CD booklet template...

My question is, do I need to compensate for "printers spread" and the order in which I need the pages to appear (ie in corresponding song order) or can I just drop my info/images onto each number page and assume it will be printed in correct order? Thanks!

compensate for "printers spread" is worded like you meant 'creep'. Is that what you meant? Compensate is a pale term to address the difference between reader's and printer's spreads.

InDesign works strictly with reader's spreads. You need a plug-in or script to output printer's spreads (like InBooklet from alap.com). For something simple like a CD booklet, I would suggest a little planning and laying out your design in a printer's spread.

You should ask about page ordering (imposition) from your printer.
