CCR Tree Multiple extension ring through path 5

How do I program a path to ring to 3 different extensions and leave a vm at only one of the extensions if nobody answers?

Set the path to ring the extension with the mailbox, then add an answer dn to the other two extensions you want to ring.

If the other two phones with answer DNs have voice mail boxes, make sure the phone that you want to answer with VM is a lower Ext number than the other 2, and that they all ring the same number of times before forwarding no answer to VM.

Great, it is a lower ext number but how do I program an answer dn?

The caller will go to the voicemail box of the user with the lowest port number. Extension does not make a difference.

Never heard of that however setting the Call Forward No Answer Ring Count setting of the DN acquiring the Answer DN key to greater than the DN it answers for will make sure it goes to the right mailbox.

Oops, same as what rusty already said.

You may as another option want to use hunt groups from CCR if your KSU software has.
Add 3 sets as members and overflow to the set with the mailbox you want.

Can I use a hunt group in broadcast than overflow directly to a mailbox?

Not directly unless you setup a mailbox with the same number as the HG.
i.e. HG 707 and mailbox 707.
set Overflow to Vmails DN.
If no mailbox created it will default to GD

You never said what model/software you had. You may not be able to use hunt groups and will have to use answer dns. Go into programming and hit next until you get to system programming then hit show, If you don't see hunt groups there then you can't use it.

Set up an analog station and forward it to voicemail. Overflow to that analog station.
