Hi Guys,

I have an issue when trying to add or edit scheduled reports.
We are using IPO version 6.1.22 and CCR version 6.1.5.19.

The issue that we are having is that when we try to add or edit a scheduled report we get the following error:

"An unexpected error occurred which has been logged.
Please report this error to your IPOCCR system administrator"

When I go back into the scheduler I can see that the changes or new scheduled report has not been created but if I log off of CCR and then log back in I can then see the changes made.

This is ok as I suppose it works in a way but it would be nice to know why this is happening and how to get it to stop (preferably without re-installing the whole CCR :) )

Does anybody have any ideas??

Thanks guys

have you given the server a restart?

Hi - yes, the server has been restarted but this has not helped the issue.

Thanks.

I have seen CCR do funny things with UAC turned on. Is this a server 2008 machine?

Hi,
No, it is a windows 2003 R2 server with SP 2 installed.

Thanks

As an update to this, I have found out that the scheduled reports are not running at all.

When looking in the windows task scheduler I can see the message 'could not run', so I went into the properties of the task and re-configured the password of the user that it will run as then selected 'run' and it worked (or at least I did not get an error message), so I re-scheduled the report though CCR but it did not work again and came back with the same error even though it was changed in the windows task scheduler!!!

Does anybody have any ideas??

Thanks Guys

Had this problem before as well and wasn't able to sort it out until i decided to re-install the application.

Try running the scheduled reports from the supervisor accounts. Admin account I guess is only for setup

Also make sure the installation was done by the book and all ports were added in the "firewall exception table" Check event viewer for clues and update us.
